Is This Shade Right For Me?
Dark Golden Brown is best for anyone with natural hair between light brown and black. If you prefer a lighter shade that reflects similarly, try 53 Medium Golden Brown (Chestnut). Alternatively, to go darker, shade 33 Darkest Golden Brown (Caramel Fudge) might be for you. If you would like to remain in the dark brown range but would like to try other reflects, there are many shades to choose from including 40 Dark Brown (Dark Chocolate), 413 Bronze Brown (Bronze Sugar), 415 Soft Mahogany Dark Brown (Raspberry Truffle), 42 Deep Burgundy (Black Cherry), and 434 Deep Chestnut Brown (Chocolate Chestnut).

For those who currently have color treated hair, there are special considerations for the color result you can achieve. Because of this, we do not recommend shade 43 (Cocoa Bean) for hair that has been previously colored Darkest Brown 30 (Sweet Cola) or darker.
